You acknowledge and understand that the results of the Pasture Trial Network plant variety trials and any other information or data provided on this website (Data) are provided on an ‘as is’ basis and MLA makes no representations regarding the completeness or accuracy of the Data. The Data is provided for information purposes only. The Data does not take into account, and may not be appropriate for, your individual circumstances. You should make your own enquiries and seek professional advice before making decisions concerning your interests or otherwise relying on the Data in any way. Any reliance will be at your own risk and MLA accepts no liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from any use or misuse of the Data. To the extent permitted by law, MLA expressly excludes all warranties and guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information, recommendations and opinions contained in the Data.

2. Use of Information

1. You must not use the Data except as permitted under this paragraph 2 and you must not provide the Data to anyone else without MLA’s prior written consent.
2. MLA grants you a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the Data solely for your personal and internal business purposes. MLA may revoke this licence at any time by providing you with at least 14 days’ notice, in which case you must cease all use of the Data on expiry of the notice period.
3. If you are a seed company, in addition to the rights under paragraph 2(b) above, you may publish or disseminate the results of the Pasture Trial Network plant variety trials provided:
   1. you have consulted with the PTN Pastures Communications Committee in relation to each type of publication or dissemination and obtained its written approval;
   2. any approved publication or dissemination is in compliance with the code of conduct established by the PTN Pastures Communications Committee.
      1. all trial results and related data to be presented in their entirety as they are displayed on the website (including the check box section which indicates the full range of varieties included in the trial) unless prior authorisation has been granted by the PTN Pastures Communications Committee; and
      2. all Data presentation to be in line with the Australian Seed Federation code of conduct; and
   3. you ensure the publication or dissemination includes in a prominent place the following acknowledgement:
      “These results were collected to the standards set by the Pasture Trial Network (PTN) and are based around the MLA Pasture Variety Trial Network. Use of this Data is subject to MLA’s PTN website terms of use, found here”
