RAGT Broadacre & Forage Open Days

Where: RAGT Longerenong Research Station + RAGT Hamilton forage screening site

Join RAGT from 8–10 September and visit their research and breeding sites to see the latest developments across their broadacre and forage breeding programmes.

At the RAGT Longerenong Research Station, you’ll have the opportunity to view the RAGT Wheat Breeding Program and inspect the latest wheat, barley, oat and canola lines currently under evaluation.

At the Forage screening site near Hamilton, Victoria, you’ll see PTN trials and breeding material including cocksfoot, fescue, phalaris, Italian ryegrass, perennial ryegrass, as well as incoming lucerne and spring forage lines.

The Longerenong and Hamilton sites will be fully staffed throughout the event, with guided tours operating on Tuesday and Thursday. Two half-day sessions will be held at the Hamilton forage site on Wednesday.
